Elisa Mizerany is constantly out of breath and is leashed to an oxygen hose in her Hendersonville, TN. home. For over nine years, Mizerany have been suffering severe respiratory complications from responding to 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York. She was a Red Cross responder shortly after the attacks. Mizerany looks forward for the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act to pass in the Senate. So she and others like her can be compensated for their service and health sacrifice during 9/11.
